And here's Derek's reference sheet for :iconthecolosseum: - yes, the doc did manage to drag him into the room despite being half his height and a fifth of his weight. But Derek's the competitor, while "Cousin Al" will be acting in a purely supervisory role and perhaps providing him with hilarious weapons if permitted.

I failed to mention it in the text dump there, but Derek's got a bit of a musical background as well; he can play the piano and sing, but not simultaneously. And like it says, any other questions will happily be answered.

The Colosseum came about as a result of :iconkilojara16:'s brain processes.

A food mage who can't so ballads. Interesting.

Imbues food with effects on whoever eats it...

Does that mean he could increase his strength and/or speed in the form of magical food? I suppose this would be most helpful to only himself, since I doubt his opponents would want to eat in the middle of the battle.

Theoretically, yeah, he could increase his size or strength or what have you. The downside is the massive risk of backfires, explosions, or turning himself random colors.

Shoot for the moon. If you miss, you'll probably land hard enough for it to be lethal, so you won't hear everyone laughing at you.

Is he versed in other forms of magicks?

Only that of reconstituting his clothing after messes both physical and metaphysical. Modesty is paramount. And universal. And possibly New Line.

He can also conjure puns.

Well, of course. He's a Luprand.

Hmm, if his belly is indicative of anything, either the risk of backfire isn't all that big or he's one big risk-taker. Or maybe he just eats normally. Still, maybe he wouldn't be good at magic if he had other skills to work on, like dancing and other musical instruments.

It could go either way, though I expected that he would be competent enough at magic to not have a huge risk of backfiring in the first place, but that's just me.

Also, how long would these effects normally last?
